As always, a big shout out to our members that have made the news. Below you’ll find members that have been highlighted or otherwise recognized. Thank you to those that submitted news this month and thank you to our members that continue to push the outside of the envelope in some way. 

David Krieger of Krieger Entertainment, based in Los Angeles, is pleased to announce the company’s expansion to a second headquarters in Atlanta, GA, establishing a new residence in the neighborhood of Buckhead. This new home-base will increase Krieger’s national footprint and allow for better service to clients in Southern California, Georgia, and all places in between.  

Waterlily Weddings, WIPA Ireland member, was awarded the Irish Wedding Planner of the Ireland at the 2021 Weddings Online Awards Owner Michelle Johnstone Clark and her team at Waterlily Weddings have been planning weddings since 2006 and focus on coordinating and designing destination weddings in Ireland.

Bespoke Edge has opened a Northern Colorado office/showroom located at 2580 E Harmony Road in Fort Collins. 

Ronan Quinn, owner of Amare Stories had one of his small 50-person weddings featured on OneFabDay

Preoccupied Bride was featured on Chi Thee Wed for their elegant fall styled shoot

Leah Weinberg of Color Pop Events’ newly published “The Wedding Roller Coaster” made multiple best seller lists on Amazon. She was also included in a roundup of speakers to bring ‘The Complete Guide to Every Type of Honeymoon’ on The Knot. Additionally, Leah made multiple podcast appearances this past month that include This Vs. ThatEllwed, and Talk With Renee Dalo.

Christie Osborne of Mountainside Media appeared on two podcasts this past month! Christie spoke to Wedding Industry Insider Podcast on ‘How Using Google Analytics Can Make You More Money’ and Wedding CEO Podcast on ‘Crisis Recovery: Top Marketing Tactics to help your Wedding Business Post Covid.’ She also discussed how to ‘Set Advertising Goals in 2021 (and Achieve Them)’ on Rising Tide

Elizabeth Sheils of Rock Paper Coin  revealed ‘4 Must-Have Elements of Your Business Structure’ on WIPA. Elizabeth also sat down and spoke with Shark Bite Biz Podcast on how to ‘Create A Startup Business.’  

Henry Chen of Wedding Chat Marketing shared with Catersource ‘3 Reasons Why Chat Marketing is the New Autopilot.’ He also spoke on how to grow and nurture your subscriber list on Confetti Hour Podcast

Jennifer Taylor of Jen Taylor Consulting gave advice on ‘3 Things to Consider Before Starting the Hiring Process’ on WIPA and ‘How To Adjust Your Operations To Enhance Event Client Experience in 2021’ on GoodShuffle.  

José Rolón of José Rolón Events spoke at Allseated’s webinar about “Building Business After a Life-Changing Moment”.

Dixie Bagley of The Farm shared how to “Establish Expectations (The Right Way) With Your Fellow Vendors’ on WIPA. Dixie also revealed ‘What You Can Do To Ensure A Stress-Free Planning Experience For Your Clients’ on NACE

Renée Dalo of Moxie Bright Events appeared on Shark Bite Biz and spoke on how to ‘Zoom Your Best You.’ 

Lisa Anhaiser of Creating the Map for Success discussed Goal Setting Strategies on Talking With The Experts Podcast. She also sat down and spoke with Planner Life Podcast and shared her experience in the wedding industry. 

Meghan Ely of  OFD Consulting rounded up experts for her article on Storyboard Wedding on ‘Favorite Wedding Details, As Shared By Professionals’ and ‘What Will Weddings After COVID Look Like? Experts Weigh In’ on Allseated. She also discussed how to ‘Dissecting the Wedding Trend Report’ on Catersource: Candid Conversations.

Wander Event Rentals is excited to announce the addition of Alissa Lawton as Director of Event Management. WIth over 10 years in the Seattle wedding world she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Wander Team and will help expand the event services currently offered. 

Cashel House Hotel has recently completed renovations including a new garden patio adjoining the bar with a new entrance/exit onto their award-winning gardens. The perfect addition for dining alfresco with fabulous views onto the gardens and out onto the Wild Atlantic Way or simply to dance the evening away under the starry night sky.

Pollyanna Richter Weddings was featured in Atlanta Style Weddings, Junebug Weddingsand The Big Fake Wedding for their contribution in the 2021 Big Fake {Micro} Wedding Atlanta. The Big Fake Wedding is a bridal show alternative in the form of a big fake wedding. Pollyanna Richter Weddings designed the personal flowers and tablescape #5 which inspired Atlanta’s couples with their chic, sustainable floral design. This incredible black sand beach micro wedding inspiration was hosted at The Carlyle venue on March, 4th 2021 in Atlanta.

Michelle Loretta of Be Sage Consulting will be presenting with a panel The Special Event in Miami, Florida on July 21 on the topic of New Revenue Streams for Your Wedding Business.  

The Creative Planners is excited to announce the addition of Holli Volkert to their team. Holli brings over 25 years of experience in the industry with a background in catering, hotels, venues and destination management. She is thrilled to add exquisite weddings to her repertoire!

Luttrellstown Castle recently completed an extensive renovation and refurbishment project to reinstate eight new bedrooms in the 15th Century Castle.

The project commenced in 2019 and finished late 2020. There are now 20 bespoke bedroom suites in the castle after a collaborative effort by Ventura Design and The Castle’s GM Ivan King. The design direction of the project was to modernise whilst still staying true to the history and heritage of one of Ireland’s oldest Castle’s – there is a section of the Castle which dates back to the 12th Century. Luttrellstown Castle is a private estate set on 567 acres of stunning parkland and it is renowned for its five-star service and its beautiful unique setting. 

Leah Weinberg, NY WIPA member, planner/attorney/author will be speaking about her  latest book The Wedding Roller Coaster at a free event for wedding professionals on May 11 4 p.m. presented by WAM! The Wedding Association of Manhattan and AFWPI Association for Wedding Professionals International. The event is produced by NY wedding professionals Brett Deutsch, Deutsch Photography, Monica Mowad E3Xperience and WIPA member, David Fletcher New York’s Best Musicians. WIPA Coastal Georgia held their town hall meeting in April and are thrilled to be halfway towards becoming a full chapter.  A huge thank you to HollyOaks on the Marsh for hosting the event.

Danietté A. Thomas, owner of DANIETTÉ has accomplished quite a few milestones over the past quarter! She has expanded her brand to now include creative directing, as well as continuing to create couture designs. This expansion has earned increased notoriety and she was recently featured as the designer for an inspirational editorial spread in Munaluchie Bridal. And even more recently she has won CONNECT Best of Savannah’s award for “Best Local Clothing Designer”-2021. Finally, and most importantly for the brand DANIETTÉ has now been placed on the show floor of local Savannah bridal shop, Camellia Bridal and by the end of the year will have a full line featured in stores nationwide! 

Bobbi Brinkman, Owner of Bobbi Brinkman Photography, Motivational Speaker, Coach + Educator  was recently part of the inaugural launch as Dream Team of Project Rise, proud to serve as documentarian in Los Angeles, CA. She also contributed to an article for The Knot “Do You Need a CRM to Manage Your Booking Workflow?”

Within the past four months, 402 Events underwent a total, top to bottom rebrand of their company to better encompass their services and clientele, which included build outs to their warehouse, additional production vehicles, new staff, etc. Previously known as 402 Event Services, the company has updated their website and social media presence to include their new logo and name. 402 Events also welcomes their newest employees Shamus  Murphy as a Production Assistant, Shayla Bentley, Alexia Hamilton, Kailey Jensen, Lawrencia Poole, and Natalie Wee as Event Assistants, Magdalen Rasmussen, Madeline Roth, David Strang, and Sara Wimer as Event Coordinators, Nicholas Maxson as Assistant Production Manager, and Lindsey Turner as Assistant Events Manager and Media Director. 402 Events also welcomes back Colleen Krings as Events Manager, Kelsen Ganeku as Production Manager, Jordan Porter as Senior Event Planner, Paige Galley and Alexandria Krueger as Event Coordinators.
