Dilushka Wanigatunga has been hired as Vice President of Operations for Beets Hospitality Group (which manages Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery and the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard). Dilushka has prior experience in the luxury hospitality space within the hotel industry and more recently as the managing director for a Sonoma winery.

Chef Marty D & Dawn Deardorf of Aurora Catering are looking forward to the changes for catering that are coming about in 2022. For the first time in months, they are booking events at one of their favorite venues, the David Brower Center in Berkeley, and are pleased to be on the preferred vendor list at The Lighthouse at Glen Cove Marina working with Maggie Panontin-Young! They are looking forward to catering many events at both locations in person after a long absence. Happy New Year everyone!
