Nothing About Us, Without Us, Is for Us

As an organization, we have made incredible strides in our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion journey at WIPA. We have already taken the first and most important step in this work by recognizing that we needed to create space for diverse voices and identities to be included. Now it is time to go deeper.

As we continue to drive impact through DEI at WIPA, we will be turning a wide lens on those for whom this work is meant to impact. Inherently it will impact all of us, but to do so properly and meaningfully, we must take our cues from our colleagues of diverse backgrounds and identities. Over the next two years, we will be listening together, learning together, sharing together, and acting together. Above all, we will do so respectfully and with the utmost care. We all deserve nothing less.

Our current team of DEI Directors are passionate, empathetic, and deeply invested in this work. I could not be more excited to deepen this work with them all. We are ready to work and ready to serve.
