As always, a big shout out to our members that have made the news. Below you’ll find members that have been highlighted or otherwise recognized. Thank you to those that submitted news this month and thank you to our members that continue to push the outside of the envelope in some way.

When it comes to fashion, Friar Tux is always on point and their latest publications and features are no exception. First, this fun blog on California Wedding Day about how to have a modern wedding design with classic colors features Friar Tux’s White Shawl Tuxedo, Black Notch Lapel Tuxedo, Green Notch Lapel SuitTan Notch Lapel Suit, and Burgundy Velvet Tuxedo. After learning about these fun trendy wedding designs, head on over to another California Wedding Day feature with this stunning Pops of Pink Wedding Celebration in Los Angeles. This was a romantic moment full of pink roses, flatware, and décor in the most perfect modern way. The groom also kept it perfect and modern by wearing a tuxedo in timeless black, but in a black velvet style. In August, Friar Tux also held their annual Evolution of Style Summer Bash for industry professionals at the Carlsbad Windmill by Wedgewood Weddings featuring a fashion show, dancing, and a celebratory toast by Friar Tux President Greg Goodwin.

Pauline Parry, founder of the Los Angeles-based catering firm Good Gracious! Events, released her debut memoir and cookbook, My Culinary Love Story, in June. Chronicling her journey from a small English town to her current success—along with her romance with her husband, Dennis—the fun, engaging book chronicles her love affair with food not only with charming stories, but also 60 recipes and watercolor illustrations. Parry also recently re-released her large-format photo book, Food, Fun, Love: Party Styles, which serves as an insider’s guide to some of LA’s top events—complete with menus, recipes, and notes on design.

Mallory McClure of Mallory McClure Photography announces the next location of her nationwide fine art portrait series where she documents a revolutionary group of women preserving their legacy for themselves and future generations. While individual experiences continue, her next group experience will occur on September 20, 2022 in New York City.

Margaux Fraise of Harmony Creative Studio will be speaking in September for Central Florida Wedding Association on sales funnels.

Renée Dalo of Moxie Bright Events dives into ‘The Power of Language’ on Special Events. She’s also traveling to Seattle in September to present on The Power of Langugage, and then making her way to Colorado in November to speak on how to ‘Reset + Refresh for 2023) to the Emerge Event Collective.

Renee Sabo of Urban Soiree chats with Wedding MBA Podcast and reveals all of her ‘Rapid Growth Strategies.’
